It does not reflect any decisions made by any council or party. It simply presents different options to be considered in any town planning discussion.
It is an informative and easy to understand presentation on the different methods of city / urban planning.
An over-simplification would be:
a) Urban Sprawl with single ingress / egress of subdivisions and widely distributed amenities or
b) higher population density in smaller land areas with a mix of business, arts, housing and recreational space (like parks) with a smaller footprint but easy access and improved transportation routes for residents .
In plain English - amenities within walking distance with mixed housing, business and recreation (parks etc...) or sub divisions spread over the county / city areas.
