The above map shows the incorporated (shaded) areas of Verdigris. Each area is a Ward and has representation through the Alderman elected by that Ward.
The area surrounding the incorporated areas - roughly bounded by the Verdigris River includes UNincorporated Verdigris.
Those outside the incorporated township have no voice in the development of the town if items of interest come to a vote - and have no representation via the Alderman in Town business at council meetings. Property owners can request to be incorporated.
Currently, the Mayor is elected solely by the Alderman.
